The Steelers expect Troy Polamalu to play against the Cardinals Sunday

The Steelers expect to have one of their most indispensable players Troy Polamalu to Pittsburgh Steelers Jerseys play against the Cardinals Sunday after passing a concussion test.
Steelers coach Mike Tomlin said Tuesday at his weekly news conference. "We anticipate him practicing Wednesday and moving on throughout the week like everyone else on our football team. He met with our neurosurgeons, and they are very comfortable with where he is."
Polamalu left last Sunday's 17-13 win over Jacksonville after taking out the legs of Maurice Jones-Drew and stopping the Jaguars running back for no gain. He reigned the NFL Defensive Player of the Year.
It happened with a little less than 10 minutes left in the fourth quarter. The Steelers sat Polamalu, who exhibited concussion-like symptoms, for the rest of the game as a precaution.
Polamalu has a history of concussions dating back to high school. That is something that could indirectly lead to the six-time Pro Bowler getting fined by the NFL .
Polamalu was fined $15,0000 earlier this season for making a horse-collar tackle in a Sept. 11 game against the Ravens.
Apart from the news, the Steelers' offensive line has to weather yet another injury. But the loss of guard/center Doug Legursky could be softened by the return of right tackle Marcus Gilbert and left guard Chris Kemoeatu. Legursky will be out "a number of weeks" after dislocating a toe on his left foot, coach Mike Tomlin said Tuesday.
Legursky started the previous two games at left guard for Kemoeatu, who has been sidelined by a knee injury. Tomlin said Kemoeatu and Gilbert, out last week because of a bad shoulder, are on track to play this week.
The Steelers have started six different offensive line combinations in as many games this season. Injuries have caused the Steelers to do some shuffling along their defensive line. That apparently won't change, with nose tackle Casey Hampton (shoulder) and defensive end Aaron Smith (foot) unlikely to play for a third straight week.
Chris Hoke, who has started the past two games at nose tackle, is questionable after sustaining a stinger last Sunday. Hoke,Ben roethlisberger jersey Tomlin said, it still experiencing weakness in his shoulder.
